In spite of the lack of confidence about the Middle East channel business and the continued uncertainty in some parts in the region, stakeholders remain optimistic about what the next 12 months will bring to their businesses.
Bhaskar Peruri, regional manager at Silver Peak, said: “From our perspective, we expect 2018 to be the year when enterprises fully embrace a ‘cloud-first’ IT strategy and seek to build a supporting application-driven SD-WAN architecture designed to efficiently and effectively support the ongoing evolution in their application mix.”
Peruri said the outlook for SD-WAN adoption across the Middle East in particular over the next few years is very positive as IT personnel gain a better understanding of the concept and the benefits it wields. “It is predicted that SD-WAN will, in fact, steer network evolution as organisations grapple with the growing demands of digital transformation, he said.
